Whalley Bells and Bell Ringing

Whalley Parish Church is home to 8 bells with a tenor weight of 21cwt and re-cast by Taylors of Loughborough in 1924.

As an active band, we regularly ring for Sunday services and Tuesday evening practices.

We are a friendly group and welcome all visiting ringers, others who are just interested or wish to have a go at the art of English Church Bellringing to our practice night on Tuesday evenings. Click here to see one of our bells in action.

After practice night ringing we are usually found at the The Dog Inn for a pint and a good natter. Bell ringing is thirsty work !
